We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of part-time Night Security working two nights a week.

Responsibilities:
- Follows safety and security policies and procedures at all times.
- Patrols property's interior grounds and back alleyway all night.
- Ensures all guestroom doors are closed and all public access doors locked. (Front door should be locked by midnight; employee entrance should be locked after the restaurant employees are gone.)
- Ensures that all offices doors are closed and locked.
- Responsible in opening the front door for guests arriving/coming back late.
- Ensures all properties security alarms and video camera are on and functioning well.
- Responsible for reporting any suspicious activity to the San Francisco Police Department. Risk should not be taken that might endanger the employee.
- Responsible for maintaining clear and concise logs of all nightly occurrences, suspicious activity, or anything out of the ordinary or requiring follow up.
- Responds to guest requests quickly and courteously as reported by auditors.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and reports all accidents to supervisor immediately regardless of severity.
- Maintains safety and security of guests and employees at all times.
- Adheres to key control policy and procedure according to set standards.
Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs any cleaning duties and projects as assigned. (polish bell cart, replenish supplies, confirm all transportation booking by looking at the log)
- Carry out door/bellman duties.
- Assists in training new/other employees.
- Maintains cellular phone log for emergency calls.
- Responsible in relieving the Night Auditor to guarantee that the front desk is never left unattended.
- Answers phone with proper telephone etiquette as outlined in our Guest Services Standards.
- Park/retrieve guest's cars after hours.
- Check for room service trays and bring them down to the kitchen.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Ability to operate general maintenance equipment, telephone equipment and Autoclerk.
-Good verbal communication skills
-Good math skills
-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
-Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized or unusual situations.
-Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: CPR certification may be required.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Reservations Agent. To provide information to prospective clients. Book, confirm, charge and change hotel reservations. Monitors, reviews and audits all reservations and processes in our hotels, in order to optimize and maximize its revenues. Individual must have attention to detail and work independently.
Responsibilities:
• Answers and handles all telephone calls efficiently and accurately using proper phone etiquette according to hotel standards.
• Books, confirms, modifies and cancels reservations according to hotel standards and rooms merchandising techniques.
• Respond to email enquiries and quote rates and availability.
• Enters reservations into the property management system that fail to integrate through the two way direct connect interface.
• Actively keeps familiar with current rates, packages, promotions and blackout dates.
• Monitors the availability of room inventory and their different categories.
• Reconcile commissionable reservations through third party reservation sites such as Expedia, Booking.com, etc. and travel agents on a weekly basis
• Verify travel agent booking commissions in conjunction with the accounting manager.
• Inform the reservations manager if any unusual booking activity is spotted that may appear to be fraudulent
• Actively upsell room types and packages to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Review all arrivals to ensure rates, market segment and source of business coding is accurate, and look for potential discrepancies in rates or duplicate reservations.
• Closely monitor oversell strategies in conjunction with the Reservations Manager and Revenue Director.
• Provides email authorizations when requested and routes charges to the correct parties as required.
• Provides visitor information about San Francisco and the neighborhood to guests as requested.
• Process/ handles or forwards guest complaints as appropriate and according to standards.
• Assist the groups department with entering and updating group rooming lists.
• Follows security and safety standards at all times.
• Maintains a professional and team oriented atmosphere.
• May be required to assist the front desk during need periods.
• Performs any and all other duties assigned and/or required by General Manager, Reservations Manager and Revenue Director
Skill Requirements:
• Completes various daily and weekly tracking reports as required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to work with deadlines.
• Ability to identify and quickly react to demand and inform Reservations Manager/Revenue Director of any sudden pick up so that hotel pricing is adjusted to remain competitive with the Market.
